WASPI Attends the Health Data Global Summit Wales 2025
The Wales Accord on the Sharing of Personal Information Service took part at the Health Data Global Summit 2025, which was held in Cardiff Bay.
The Health Data Global Hybrid Summit Wales 2025 brought together senior healthcare leaders, clinicians, policymakers, data scientists, technology innovators, and patient advocates from Wales, the UK, Ireland, and from around the globe.
WASPI Code Manager, Dave Parsons spoke alongside representatives from Welsh Government and the Information Commissioner’s Office Welsh Office providing attendees with a talk on building trust in data sharing, compliance and ethics.
Dave also presented to attendees, providing an overview of WASPI, its successes and future under the “Transforming Care: Innovation and Equity Lightning Talks” item.
The WASPI Service also exhibited, highlighting to attendees the impact of WASPI in information sharing in Wales over the last 20 years.
