WASPI on the Road 2026

Join us as we travel across Wales for WASPI on the Road 2026!

We’ll be visiting Wrexham (30th September), Llandrindod Wells (21st October) and Cardiff (19th November) as we look to connect with our partners across Wales.

We’ll be delivering an agenda which focuses on:

  • A morning session with key partners providing updates on the WASPI framework – such as the new version of our templates, an update on the Code of Conduct and the work we’re doing in the education sector.
  • An afternoon session where we’ll allow you to get hands-on engagement with the Information Sharing Gateway (ISG) ahead of the wider roll out.
  • An opportunity to network with fellow data protection/information governance professionals about information sharing.

We're delighted to welcome speakers from the Information Commissioner's Office (Regulatory, Policy and Projects Team), alongside colleagues from the Wales Office and Welsh Government, who will be headlining the agenda.

Agendas:

Wrexham – 30th September

Llandrindod Wells – 21st October

Attendance at the event is free and is aimed at information governance professionals, working across any sector in Wales, that are interested in learning more or receiving updates on the WASPI framework and ISG development and implementation. We want to see as many of our partners as we can so we are not currently limiting attendance numbers, therefore, please forward on to your colleagues or share with other partners who you think would like to attend.

Want to be involved as part of the agenda? We’re looking for partners to collaborate with to highlight where WASPI has benefited them. Please get in touch if you have any ideas: waspiservice@wales.nhs.uk
